5 Day Learn to Surf Surfari (Departs every Monday and returns Friday)

The 5 Day Tour is a surf surfari for beginners to advanced alike. Our tour takes us to the up or down
the west coast depending on surf or weather conditions. We will provide the best guide options for the individual. So if your learning we will ravel to the best learning beaches, if your a pro we will find sick, solid and good surf!
Learning to surf is all about:
- Having access to the right equipment, which we provide if needed.
- Finding the best waves that suit your ability level
- Being given the right instruction and surf etiquette.

Most of our customers are beginners but many experienced surfers take our trips because we find the best waves to suit all abilities. For the new surfer having good surfers on board is a bonus, by hangin with them it will greatly improve your surfing skills. The drawback is your vocabulary will change and words like bro, dude, pits, gnarly, point break, going off! It is all part of the experience so not to worry. Our tour heads in any direction for the simple reasons we travel where the waves are going to be, and the consistency of the surf.

- We use exclusive lodge and camping grounds which are located right on the beach. In front of the campsites and Lodges are very good consistent beach breaks, which offers great learning and longboarding waves.

Product Detail - 5 Day Tour
We Provide:
- 5 days of surfing
- 4 night's accommodation, dormitory style at a Surf Lodge. Upgrades available.
- 3 great meals daily, yummy sunset BBQ's. Vegetarians no problem. (Lunch on Monday and Friday while in transit is at your own expense).
- All transportation. Pick up and drop off from Headquarters. (We will work with you to make your travel more convenient)
- Surfboards, wetsuits, and accessories are all available.
- Daily Surf Lessons (we are normally in the water for 2 hours per surf).
- Surf safety, learn about rips, and under currents, how to identify them, escape them and use them to your advantage. You will also learn the difference between offshore and onshore winds, afternoon sea breezes, tides, and surfing rules.
- Beach activities.
Your Guides
All our guides are internationally recoginsed ISA surf coaches and they hold a minimum level 1 endorsement. They have been trained in surf safety & hold current first aid certificates for your safety. They are also very good surfers with tons of experience so if your a pro we will surf with you at good surf spots!
Adventure Activities
California is an adventure playground! You can swim, walk along the beach, play golf, go fishing, go mountain biking, snow boarding or take a quad bike tour. To be honest surfing twice a day will burn you out. If you have the energy or want to take a day out from surfing there are plenty of options.
Daily Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome. The search begins departing Headquarters as we head to the discussed and best surf location. Today we have 1 surf.
Day 2 - We will find the best waves in area. This could mean driving up or down the coast to get you to the surf locations. 2 surfs today.
Day 3 - We either surf in front of the campsite/lodge or take a short drive up/down the coast. Surf twice in one day!
Day 4 - More of day 2 & 3. By evening our surf explorations will bring us back to Lodge/Campsite for our final night. 2 surfs today.
Day 5 - Back to Headquarters chasing waves on the coast. We arrive back at Headquarters late Friday afternoon. 1 surf today.
Bonuses: Sunsets, dolphins, whales, perfect waves just to name a few.
General Information
- Tours depart Headquarters every Monday.
- We are limited to 8 seats and most trips book out so please book early! First come first served.
- Departure time on Monday is 10am. You will be sent a map when booking.
- Return time on Friday is normally around 5pm.
- Most of our customers are aged between 20 & 35. The minimum age is 18.
What to bring:
Personal items, sunscreen, sunglasses, towel, camera, party funds and lots of energy.
